The Torsby municipality web site on the internet has a lot to offer if you seek information on the activities of the municipal committees , tourism, clubs & associations, events, environmental issues and much more.
The great advantage with the internet is its availability around the clock. You don´t have to wait for the right person to be present, you can seek out your information in the middle of the night, if you wish. Torsby municipality works to provide even more information and services via internet.
These are a few samples from the contents on our web site:
Minutes from the Municipal Council, the Municipal Executive Committee, all Municipal Committees and the Technical branch are provided on our web site. You can also read the agendas for all meetings one week in advance. Starting in the autumn 2009, all documents relevant for the agendas will be available on the web, from 2011 also from Municipal Executive Committee meetings.
We are the first municipality in Värmland to provide the possibility of reading the daily incoming mail of the Municipality Committee, on the internet. We are also working on a presentation of the diary, available on the web.
When is the recycling station open? Is the municipal office closed on Walpurgis Eve? What are the opening hours of the indoor bath?
Our ambition is to provide all necessary forms needed in your contact with the municipality, on the internet, easily downloaded. If you cannot find or if you miss any particular form, please contact us!
What are the child-care fees? Refuse collection fees? Water fees? What grants are available for clubs & associations.
What´s going on this weekend? Any exhibitions? Dancing? When is the autumn fair held this year? What can I do & see if want to entertain my guests or if I want to be a tourist around my own “home ground"?
