The Finnculture Center and many old Finn settlements, Heidruns´ Book & Bild Café in Fensbol, the Outland Museum in Ransby, the art exhibitions and collections at Sahlströmsgården in Utterbyn, our Heritage Centers and more.
The cinema theatre Stjärnan, in Torsby, is Värmlands´ first cinema with digital picture & sound and 3D capability. You always find all the newest movies here, as soon as they are issued. Programs can be found at www.stjarnan.se

The Library — not just books
Torsby has a fine new main library. This is a combined public- and secondary upper school library and is located at Stjerneskolan, north of the railway. Branch libraries can be found in Stöllet and Sysslebäck and there is also a library bus touring the municipality. Opening hours and bus timetable at www.torsby.se
At our libraries you can borrow books, magazines, books recorded on cassette tapes, music recordings, slide shows and language courses. Books and magazine and newspaper articles that we do not have can be loaned from other libraries thanks to the nationwide loan system.
Persons with vision difficulties may loan “talking books" recorded on tapes. The elderly who have difficulty coming to a library may loan books through eldercare services. All branch libraries and the library bus offer the same services.
The library also has a special collection of photographs and other resources for those researching genealogy (family lineage).
7 computers are available for public use. Public computers are also available in Sysslebäck and Stöllet. Library personnel can help with Internet training. The library card catalogue is also available on the Internet www.torsby.se and there are other services available such as renewal of loans, ordering books and suggestions of books to be purchased.
E-books can be loaned for use on your own computer.
All the new babies in the municipality receive a book as a gift from the Municipal Culture Committee.
Groups are welcome to schedule a guided tour of library facilities.
